I’ve been a part of the social studies department at GMC since 2011, primarily teaching US History. High school students at an age where they’re eager to learn and question the world around them, and I love helping them through that process.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Social Studies Education from Bob Jones University in 2002 and earned a Masters of Science in Counseling the following year. More recently, I completed an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University in 2019.
In my free time, I enjoy travel, which has led me to visit several Asian countries, including a two-year experience living in the Philippines. Reading is another way that I spend a good deal of time, along with listening to music, singing in my church choir, attending theater performances, and doing almost anything with my family.
My wife, Mrs. Gallion, also works in the office here at GMC, adding a unique dynamic to our lives. Together, we have two children who will be attending GMC in a few short years.
I’m thankful for the opportunity to guide and inspire the next generation of young people here at GMC. Every day at GMC is a chance to help students grow, learn, and become the best versions of themselves, and it’s a joy to be a small part of that.
